1. Public Domain - as East Coles research results are in the public domain, and we take our responsibility for accuracy very seriously, the more respondents the more accurate the results, and the fairer the Surveys are to those affected by the Results. Many respondents tell us they enjoy rewarding their service providers for the work they've been conducting for them, by voting for them in our Surveys.
2. Subscribers - several major institutional broking houses and investment banks subscribe to the East Coles Equities Markets and Investment Banking Surveys, and value the feedback highly to assist in enhancing their services to fund managers and corporates. Many ASX Top 100 companies subscribe to the East Coles Corporate Performance Survey and use the Results to help improve their relationships with the investment community.
3. Individual Incentives - we realise and respect that respondents to our Surveys are very busy, and as such we provide Gift Vouchers to each respondent as some recompense for their time. We also conduct the Institutional Remuneration Review annually for fund managers, and provide the Executive Movements Sheet and Corporate Bulletin Board as further value add.
4. Company Incentives - East Coles provides cases of wine or $250 donations to charity to each institution that votes across all their sectors in our Equities Markets Survey.
5. Improved Market Performance - it could be argued market efficiency is enhanced through the publication of Results validating the higher level of performance by the higher ranked firms and individuals, thereby promoting best practice within the various industries.
